Volunteer Opportunities
The Women’s Refuge Main Campus is looking for faith filled volunteers who are dedicated to supporting our mission to provide help, hope, and healing to women, men, and their families who have faced trauma.

Office Volunteer:
The Women’s Refuge is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced office volunteers. Responsibilities include assisting the office manager and staff with administrative type duties.
- Interpersonal skills/greeting Clients
- Basic computer skills
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Making copies/scanning documents
- Etc.
Adobe Indesign Newsletter Volunteer:
Our Development/PR department is looking for an on-site volunteer to assist with our monthly newsletter. We have a general template we update each month with relevant and timely information. This volunteer would be able to commit anywhere from 2-4 hours (depending on your skill level) each month towards completing a design in this software.
This would be ideal for a student interesting in graphic design who needs to get volunteer hours. You would also receive professionally printed newsletters for your portfolio/resume.
Fundraising Event Volunteers:
The Women’s Refuge has four major events and several smaller events throughout the year. We always need volunteers who have experience and/or a willingness to volunteer for a variety of tasks.
